Mario Games That I Played As A Kid

Description

Yay! It's completely finished now! Now with colors and everything! I was actually gonna post this yesterday but trying to edit a picture that was taken in the night is extroardinarly difficult! But anyways, here's the actual thing!

New Super Mario Bros.
The first Mario game I ever played. Back when I was a kid, I pretty much sucked at platformer games so I never exactly beat the game. Story mode was fun and all but the real fun thing about that game was the Mario vs. Luigi feature where one person plays as Mario and another plays as Luigi and you're taken to a random area and the two of you fight each other to see which one can reach 3, 5 or 10 stars depending on how quick you wanna play them. I played it with my friend a lot and I always got a lot of stars and then they got stolen and then I steal them back just to get stolen again XD
But it was a very fun game and if I still had it today, I would probably be addicted to the game... again.

Yoshi's Island DS
Also known as Yoshi's Island 2, this game is basically the reincarnation or sequel or whatever of Yoshi's Island. For those who don't know, this game is about Kamek and his little minions named Toadies start to kidnap the babies of the village. Baby Mario however was able to escape but his brother, Luigi was still held captive. Baby Mario somehow landed on Yoshi's saddle and then working together, they go on a journey straight to Bowser's castle to save all the babies including Baby Luigi. This is a little spoiler if you haven't played the game, but later you unlock new babies, Baby Peach let's you glide for a little, Baby DK climbs vines and he causes eggs to make an explosion when thrown, Baby Wario has a giant magnet that attracts money whther they're out in the open or if it's through a wall or something. There's one more baby that you can unlock but you'll have to wait until World 8 (I think) to unlok him! This game was a actually a really big part of my childhood! I always loved solving puzzles and trying to get 100% on each level.

Super Princess Peach
You can laugh and make fun of me as much as you want but I have played this game and I ENJOYED it! This game is about Mario and co. getting captured by Bowser's troops so Princess Peach has no choice but to go out there and rescue them (as ridiculous as that may sound). She uses her parasol, Perry and her emotions (literally) to aid her on her journey. For as ridiculous and weird as this game may sound, I actually had lots of fun playing and I've seen a lot of other people play it too. Some other people made fun of us but we still played the game, no biggy.

Mario Party DS
Oh, Mario Party, the game that ruins many friendships and holds grudges. For those who never played Mario Party... it's pretty insane. It's always those little chance parts. Many luck-based things can be found throughout Mario Party! Well, at the beginning of the game, it's all happy fun times but once you start getting to like round 8 or something, it's complete chaos with all the stars and coins and luck! As a kid, it was usually hard for me to get to the boss all because I lost by one coin (which has happened once to me by the way). Overall, it's not the best Mario Party game to exist, but it is one of my favorites!

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Oh my god! Thid brings back so many memories! The whole M&L series was basically the game that ate up most of my childhood! I was extremely addicted to this game! I'm a big fan of RPGs and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was by far one of the best ones I played! Believe me guys, this isn't my favorite one in the series, my favorite was actually Partners in Time but who cares, it's a very close second! The fact that I get to control three characters with two of them inside one (eww...) was so much fun! Dream Team was pretty good but nowhere near Bowser's Inside Story! God, I just love this game!

Super Paper Mario
My favorite game of all time. It's not just the gameplay and characters, it's the story. It was well thought out and it had a bunch of feels in there. The ending was one of the most insane things I ever seen in any video game actually.
Tippi ;(

There will be a second "Mario Games That I played As A Kid" sonner or later so stay for that or something. Thanks for reading!
